Inner Wheel

So you want to know more?

The good news is that you, too, can join one of the largest women’s voluntary service organisations in the world!

Started originally by the wives of Rotarians in 1924 in Manchester, and becoming International in 1967, Inner Wheel is now open to any lady who wants to enjoy friendship and fun as well as contributing to their local community and to home and international charities.

The Inner Wheel Club of Kingston upon Thames is your starting point!

We meet once a month, usually on the second Tuesday of the month, at the Antoinette Hotel, Beaufort Road, Kingston upon Thames, KT1 2TQ, 7 for 7.15 p.m. We enjoy a meal together followed by our meeting. We regularly have interesting speakers at our meetings, as well as enjoying socialising together.

We organise an annual fund-raising event (for many years our Christmas Bazaar), raising money for local charities, and each year our President nominates a charity for which we raise money during her year – this year it is Momentum. Our current International charity is School in a Bag.

As a joint project we link with Rotary for the Mary Preston holiday once a year.   More details of which can be found on the Projects – locally page.

If you’re interested, get in touch and come along to one of our meetings to find out more or go to our national Inner Wheel website
