About us

Kingston Rotary Club has offered 100 years of service to the Kingston and International communities.   We were formed in 1922, providing adults in the borough with an opportunity to get involved in local and international community projects and meet like-minded people in the local area.  Hands-on volunteering, fundraising, community events, sharing our skills to help local charities develop - these are just some of the activities we get involved in - as well as having a lot of fun!

We are always looking for new volunteers and members to strengthen our work.

We think Kingston is a wonderful place to live, work and visit and we are proud to be a part of such an exciting community.   Many people here are facing challenges that are marking it hard for them to live healthy, happy lives and we want everyone in Kingston to thrive.

We are people of action making a difference in our community.

Talking and working with other local leaders from community groups, small charities, religious groups, schools and businesses, members focus their efforts on understanding what the people need from their community and provide projects and support that works for them.

As members of Kingston Rotary we value the social connections and friendships that develop from working and volunteering together. We build on these through a social programme that includes dinners, walks and excursions, games, competitions and fundraising events.

Kingston Rotary has approx. 30 members, who volunteer their time and use their skills to make a positive difference in our community.  Our members work on community projects, big community events and build partnerships.

We belong to a world-wide association of Rotary Clubs - Rotary International whose object is to encourage working together to help the community while fostering friendship, high ethical standards and international understanding.

The Club meets 3 or 4 times per month on a Thursday for 1 hour: breakfast on 1st Thursday of the month; lunch on 2nd and 4th Thursdays; and evening on any 5th Thursday.

Remember to share your news with us or follow us on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram for regular updates.
